Vaneeckhaute Céline

Céline Vaneeckhaute, Ph.D.

Céline Vaneeckhaute is associate professor at the Department of chemical engineering of Université Laval. She is Director of the BioEngine research team and she specialises in the engineering of green processes and biorefineries. Her research program focuses on the recovery of high value resources as products that can be commercialized, from organic residual matter and waste water.




Abolfazl Mostafavi Mir

Mir Abolfazl Mostafavi, Ph.D.

Mir Abolfazl Mostafavi is full professor at the Department of geomatics sciences of Université Laval. He is a member of the Centre for Research in Geomatics (CRG) and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation and Social Integration (CIRRIS) of Université Laval. He is also Director of the Convergence Network of Geospatial Intelligence for Innovation. His research interests include: dynamic and multidimensional geographic information systems, decisional databases, and modeling and spatial representations in 2D and 3D.

Evangelina Belia is President of Primodal Inc., an environmental technology firm that provides data analysis and modelling solutions for biological systems. She has over 25 years experience in the wastewater treatment industry and specialises in the construction and commissioning of treatment facilities as well as mathematical modelling.




Mohammed Benyagoub, Ph.D.

Mohammed Benyagoub is President and Chief executive officer of the Consortium de recherche et innovations en bioprocédés industriels du Québec (CRIBIQ). The mission of the CRIBIQ is to unite businesses and publicly funded research institutions in order to create wealth by promoting innovation and funding collaborative research projects in the fields of bioprocesses and bio-sourced products.


Francis Fortin, M.Adm.

Francis Fortin is Chief executive officer at Chamard Environmental Strategies Inc., a firm that specialises in waste management, waste audits and outsourcing, environmental compliance and environmental cetifications. Mr. Fortin’s interests include the waste management and sustainable development of municipalities and industrial, commercial and intitutional organizations.
